Resolution signed by Mayor Coulter designating Sunday as "Four Chaplains" Day. It is also the start of religious emphasis week fot the Legion.

Oratorical Contest for the local schools. We will have students from both RCHS and Central speaking on the Constitution of the Untited States and on one of 4 preselected topics concerning the Constitution.

24th District meeting for February will be on Feb. 26 at Post 143 in Dadeville. Meeting time is 3:30 EST. This is the time when we usually have the candidates for the June elections of Department Officers as guests. Have your post respresented and listen to the candidates.

Legion Life Insurance, are you enrolled? It's free with membership. Contact the Post Office for your enrollment card. You must sign a new card if you did not sign one for 2010-11. There was a new policy released in 2010 so you must sign a new card and submit it.
