Currently living in Costa Mesa, CA

I re-enlisted in 1965 for 6 years under the SCORE program.  I was an ADR3 at the time on-board the USS Hancock.  I went to A school in Memphis, graduated in the top 10% and went directly to the Great Lakes to DS A school.  Then went to Glynco Ga for under a year, then back to Memphis to B school.  My last duty station was on top of Pt Loma in San Diego, FAAWTC.  I always worked on the computers at San Diego and Glynco.  Mostly in an NTDS environment.  FAAWTC was the advanced CIC team training facility for the Pacific Fleet.  I was in charge of the Carrier Air Traffic Control Center Simulator.  We used A scan Radar sims.

Out of the 11 years I was in the Navy, I had more fun, learned more, and enjoyed more being a TD than anything else.  I would not be where I am today if it had not been for those last 6 years as a TD.  I own my own sales company and sell high end computers to the Aerospace companies in Southern California.  I'm still in the technology after all these years, thanks to the Navy and being a TD!
