James E. "Chub" Crawley

Currently living - residing in Summerville, SC

Served four years--San Diago, Memphis, Norfolk, and Barbers Pt. Hawaii

My experience was great.  After discharge I worked for an Air Force Contractor training AF pilots.  Then I attended and graduated from Clemson University (1958) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

I began employment with E.I. duPont, Inc. after graduation and following assignments in research and development, process engineering, engineering project, and management I retired in 1994.

My second career soon began as Dean of the School of Business at Gardner-Webb University (a small private university in NC.)

Also, I served six years as an elected official (county commissioner) in Cleveland County, NC (lived in Shelby, NC).

I retired for the third time in 2000 and my wife,Marcie, and I moved to Summerville.

Now playing golf and working with Habitat for Humanity, Senior Citizens, and my church.
