I entered the Navy in Oct. 1948 and went to TD 'A' school at NATTC Memphis.  I taught Link Trainers at Naval Air Station Norfolk for two years then went to Little Creek, Va. at the Gunfire Support School teaching Ship to Shore Bombardment.  I was a TD3 when I got out.

I then went to college and got a direct appointment as an Ensign while at Clemson.  Went back on active duty and stayed in the reserves for 18 years and retired in 1978 as a Commander USNR.  (CDR = O5)

I regret I did not get to the reunion in October 2002 but was doing mission work in the Philippines at that time.  Will definitely try to make the next one because I still remember some of the shipmates on the TD list.

I was born in Florence, SC and lived my childhood near Hendersonville, NC
and you guessed it I am a Clemson Tiger.  MouseOver my Paw -pause- then Click my Paw.
