One of few TD's that went to sea on the USS Independence CV-62 operating the PLAT and Lens system.  Went to A school at Millington in 1980, then assigned to NAS Oceana and the NAS Pensacola.  Flew or maintained 2F122, 2F114, 2E6 and 1D23 simulators.  Laterally converted to ET and passed ET1 test.  Discharged in 1985.
